Category Group Properties Dialog Box, General (Report Builder 2.0)

Select General on the Category Group dialog box to change name and group expressions for the group along the category axis.

Options

  • Name
    Type a name for the item. The name must be unique within the report. By default, a general name, such as Chart1_CategoryGroup1, is assigned.

  • Label
    Choose the field or expression which is shown along the category axis. By default, this value is the same as the group field or expression that is added when you add a field to the category field drop-zone.

  • Add
    Add a new group to the chart data region.

  • Delete
    Delete the selected group.

  • Group on
    Choose the field or expression on which to group the data. Click the Expression (fx) button to edit the expression. By default, this value is the same as the group field or expression that is added when you add a field to the category field drop zone.

  • And on
    Type the next field or expression on which to group the data. Click the Expression (fx) button to edit the expression.
