Specifies the Enterprise Voice policy that is globally enforced when participating in a unified communications session.

The following syntax is simplified from Managed Object Format (MOF) code and includes all inherited properties. Properties are listed in alphabetic order, not MOF order.


class MSFT_SIPGlobalUCSetting

  boolean UsePerUserUCPolicy;


This class does not define any methods.


The MSFT_SIPGlobalUCSetting class has the following properties.


Data type: [key] string

Access type: Read-only

Required. A GUID value that uniquely identifies an instance of this class.

The GUID must be encapsulated between the "{" and "}" braces; for example: "{01234567-0123-4567-89AB-CDEF01234567}".


Data type: string

Access type: Read/Write

Required. Specifies the distinguished name of the global unified communications (UC) policy being enforced.

The value of this property is not case-sensitive.


Data type: boolean

Access type: Read/Write

Required. Specifies whether to apply the UC policy globally to all users, or to specific users on an individual basis.

If false, the UC policy is applied globally. If true, the UC policy is applied only to individually specified users.

The default value is false.


This class gets and sets information at the following level(s): AD.

Only one instance of this class can be present in the forest.

Instances of this class support the following interface methods:

  • Provider::EnumerateInstances();

  • Provider::GetObject();

  • Provider::PutInstance();

    Where PutInstance() supports the following flag(s):



Server: Installed on computers serving the following role(s): Administrative Tools Server, Front End Server.

Namespace: Defined in \root\cimv2.
