Change the name or description of a list, document library, discussion board, or survey

  1. On the page that displays the list, document library, discussion board, or survey, click Modify settings and columns.

    Note   If the page displays a survey, click Modify survey and questions.

  2. Under General Settings, click Change general settings.

  3. Type the new information you want in the Name and Description boxes.

  4. At the bottom of the page, click OK.
