DispatcherExtensions.Invoke Method (Dispatcher, Action)

Executes the specified delegate synchronously with normal priority on the thread that the specified Dispatcher was created on.

Type: System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher

The dispatcher that executes the delegate.

Type: System.Action

The delegate to execute, which takes no arguments and does not return a value.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type Dispatcher. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).


action is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).
