10/16/2008
You can develop an operating system (OS) design that provides support for MSN Direct services. When you create the OS by selecting features that are Catalog items, you can include the base functionality for MSN Direct services by selecting the MSN Direct Sample Application Catalog item.
Catalog Items
MSN Direct Services for Windows Embedded CE provides the following Catalog item that you can include in your OS design:
Catalog item | Sysgen variable | Description |
---|---|---|
MSN Direct Sample Application |
SYSGEN_MSNDIRECT_SAMPLE |
Demonstrates how to retrieve MSN Direct data from the Microsoft DirectBand wireless datacasting network so that you can implement MSN Direct applications on navigation devices. You can use this sample as a starting point for integrating MSN Direct into a device. |
