SqlMethods::DateDiffDay Method (Nullable<DateTimeOffset>, Nullable<DateTimeOffset>)

Counts the number of day boundaries between two nullable dates.

Type: System::Nullable<DateTimeOffset>

The start date for the time period.

Type: System::Nullable<DateTimeOffset>

The end date for the time period.

Return Value

Type: System::Nullable<Int32>
When both parameters are not nullptr, returns the number of day boundaries between the two specified dates. When one or both parameters are nullptr, returns a nullptr value.

Corresponds to the SQL Server DATEDIFF function; using day to specify the type of time boundary crossed. For more about this SQL Server function, see DATEDIFF in the Microsoft SQL Server Books Online.
