Navigate the style hierarchy using the breadcrumb bar
When you are in the editing scope of a style or template in Expression Blend 2, a breadcrumb navigation bar appears at the upper left of the artboard.
The breadcrumb bar appears for any selected object that can have a custom style or template applied to it.
-
Select an object on the artboard or under Objects and Timeline that supports styles and templates. For example, select a button.
-
At the top of the artboard, select the breadcrumb button that appears.
Note:If the object does not support styles or templates, the breadcrumb button for the object is unavailable.
-
From the pop-up menu that appears below the breadcrumb, select which kind of resource to create.
For information about how to create styles and templates, see Create a style resource, Create or edit a control template, and see the section on "The difference between styles and templates" in the Style and template overview.
