Show, hide, move, or dock a toolbar

When you open Microsoft Expression Web, it displays the toolbars that were open the last time you closed Expression Web, and in the same place you left them.

To find a button on a toolbar

If the toolbar is too long to fit on the screen, the Toolbar Options Cc295491.505b333a-3afb-475b-92bb-2636ab30b220(en-us,Expression.40).png button is displayed.

  • Click Toolbar Options Cc295491.505b333a-3afb-475b-92bb-2636ab30b220(en-us,Expression.40).png at the end of the toolbar.

If you can't find a toolbar button, you may need to enable editing for the language that the button applies to.

  • Use the move handle Cc295491.3c4126fb-04b8-4f83-8581-12d3b8e5531a(en-us,Expression.40).png on the toolbar to drag the toolbar to its own row. You can also move the toolbar to a location other than the edge of the program window so that the toolbar becomes a floating toolbar.

To hide a toolbar
