Add or remove a workspace panel

You can remove a workspace panel to make more room for the artboard.

To remove a panel from the workspace

Do one of the following:

  • In the top-right corner of the panel, click Close Cc295072.c4c07a21-557c-4f26-b4b7-38315f031f1e(en-us,Expression.40).png.

    Note

    There is a close button for a group of panels as well as for individual panels.

  • On the Window menu, click the name of the panel that you want to remove from the workspace. Doing this removes the check mark next to the panel name.

  • Collapse the panel instead of removing it. For more information, see Hide or pin a workspace panel.

To add a panel to the workspace

  • On the Window menu, click the name of the panel that you want to add to the workspace. Panels that are already displayed in the workspace appear on the Window menu with a check mark next to them.

    Note

    If the panel does not appear, it might already be in the workspace, but it might be using AutoHide, or it might be tabbed within another panel. For more information, see Hide or pin a workspace panel.

To reset the workspace

  • On the Window menu, click Reset Current Workspace.
