Import from AutoPlay

You can import your items and simultaneously create a new catalog by using the AutoPlay dialog box that appears whenever you insert removable media, such as memory cards or flash drives.

To import items using the AutoPlay dialog box

  1. Insert or connect your removable media.

  2. In the AutoPlay dialog box, click Catalog pictures and videos. Microsoft Expression Media retrieves the files from the media and places them in a new catalog.
