Manage document windows
When you have more than one document open, you have several to switch from one to another.
To switch document windows from the Window menu

On the Window menu, click the document you want to view.
Each time that you open a new document, the name of the file appears on a document tab at the top of the application window. These tabs appear in the order in which you opened the documents.
To switch document windows using document tabs

To switch document windows, you can use one of the following procedures:

Click a document tab.

Press CTRL+TAB to move to the next document, or press CTRL+SHIFT+TAB to move to the previous document.

Microsoft Expression Design adds an asterisk next to the file name whenever you have made changes to a document that are not yet saved. When you save the file, the asterisk disappears. |
To open a copy of a current document

On the View menu, click New View.
When you have multiple views of the same document, the document's title in the title bar and document tab is followed by a number. This number indicates the order in which you opened the window.
