The Remove Red Eye filter
Expression Studio 2.0
You can use the Remove Red Eye filter to remove the "red-eye" effect caused by a camera flash.
To remove red-eye from an image
-
Select an image file.
-
On the Window menu, click Image Editor.
-
Click the Remove Red Eye filter.
-
Use the Zoom slider at the bottom of the Remove Red Eye dialog box to zoom in on the area where the eyes are located.
-
Use the Selection tool to draw an area around the iris of the eye. Depending on the skin tone, you can, with some images, draw a box around both eyes. Be aware of reddish colors in skin tone, lips, or hair, because they might be affected.
-
Adjust the level of red-eye by using the Reduction slider. A setting of 5 or 6 is optimal.
-
Click OK. To adjust the other eye, repeat these steps.
