Add or remove an add-in
An add-in is a small program (.exe or .dll) that provides additional commands and features to Microsoft Expression Web.
To add an add-in
On the Tools menu, click Add-Ins.
Do one of the following:
In the Add-Ins available box, select the check box next to the add-in you want, and then click OK.
If the add-in you want does not appear in the Add-Ins available box, click Add, locate and click the file for the add-in, and then click OK.
If necessary, follow the instructions in the setup program for the add-in.
Consult the documentation that came with your add-in to see how to use it once you have added it to Expression Web.
To remove an add-in
On the Tools menu, click Add-Ins.
Do one of the following:
If you want to remove the add-in from memory and keep it in the Add-Ins available list, clear the check box next to the add-in.
If you want to remove the add-in from memory and from the Add-Ins available list, click the add-in, and then click Remove. The next time you start Expression Web, the add-in will be removed.
Note
This procedure does not remove the add-in from your hard disk. To remove it from your hard disk, you must uninstall the add-in.
