Import media

A job is a collection of video files that you would like to encode. You add to your job by importing your video into Microsoft Expression Encoder where it will display in the Media Content panel.

To import your media

  1. On the File menu, choose Import. You can also import your media by dragging into the application; however, recursive import of sub folders is not supported.

  2. Browse to the file or files that you want to import.

  3. Select one or more files and click Open.

To delete media from a job

  • Locate the video or videos that you want to delete, and then click the Remove button. This action only deletes the file from the workspace.
