Data Compression Wizard (Select Action Type Page)

Use this page to select how the data compression changes will be performed.

  • Generate script
    When the wizard finishes, it creates a script in the Query Editor to change the compression type. Select if you want to review the script, and then execute the script manually.

  • Execute
    Select to have the wizard change the compression type when you click Finish.

  • Create job
    Select to have the wizard create a SQL Server Agent job to change the compression settings.
