2.2.6.10.1 com.microsoft.wm.eosmsg

The com.microsoft.wm.eosmsg token specifies support for the EndOfStream (section 2.2.7.3) request. If a client specifies this token, it means that the client supports the EndOfStream request and the client expects the server to send such requests to it. If a server specifies the com.microsoft.wm.eosmsg token, it means that the server intends to send EndOfStream requests to the client.

If a server never sends the Supported header, or if a server does not specify the com.microsoft.wm.eosmsg token on the Supported header, clients SHOULD assume that the server will not send an EndOfStream request.<10>

If a client never sends the Supported header, or if a client does not specify the com.microsoft.wm.eosmsg token on the Supported header, servers SHOULD assume that the client does not support the EndOfStream request. In this case, the server MAY send the EndOfStream request anyway, but MUST be prepared to handle an error response from the client.<11>
