3.1.6 Timer Events

After the PPP Over IrDA Dialup Protocol is initialized as specified in sections 3.2.3 and 3.3.3, both the client and the server set the IdleTimer. The timer MUST be reset by the client and the server any time they send or receive a message.

When the timer fires, the PPP Over IrDA Dialup Protocol MUST be moved to the uninitialized state.
