The Group Policy: Software Installation Protocol Extension requires remote file access and LDAP transports as specified for use in the Group Policy: Core Protocol [MS-GPOL]. All messages MUST be exchanged over the LDAP and remote file access protocols between the client and server, as specified in section 2.2.
