The Group Policy: Software Installation Protocol Extension to the Group Policy Protocol, as specified in [MS-GPOL], allows administrators to instruct arbitrarily large groups of clients to install and remove administrator-specified software at computer startup, user logon, or when explicitly instructed by an interactively logged-on user.
