TextWriter.Write Method (String)

Writes a string to the text stream.

Parameters

value

The string to write.

Exception typeCondition

ObjectDisposedException

The TextWriter is closed.

IOException

An I/O error occurs.

This version of Write is equivalent to Write .

This method does not search the specified String for individual newline characters (hexadecimal 0x000a) and replace them with NewLine.

If value is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic), nothing is written to the text stream.
