2.2.6 Link Speed Determination

The client SHOULD<7> use the Network Location Awareness Service Provider (NLA) to estimate the link speed of the network between the client and the domain controller. The Link Speed Determination message MAY use Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) (as specified in [RFC792]) as a transport, supporting at least 2048-byte packets, as an implementation-specific means.
