IMap<K, V>.Lookup method

Returns the item at the specified key in the map.

Syntax


V^ Lookup(
  K^ key
)

Parameters

key

Type: K

The key associated with the item to locate.

Return value

Type: V

The item associated with the specified key.

Remarks

When programming with .NET, this interface is hidden and developers should use the System.Collections.Generic.IDictionary<TKey,TValue> interface.

Use the HasKey method to determine whether the key exists in the map.
