Matrix.CreateWorld Method (Vector3, Vector3, Vector3)

Creates a world matrix with the specified parameters.

Namespace:  Microsoft.Xna.Framework
Assembly:  Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Math (in Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Math.dll)

public static Matrix CreateWorld(
	Vector3 position,
	Vector3 forward,
	Vector3 up
)

Parameters

position
Type: Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Vector3
Position of the object. This value is used in translation operations.
forward
Type: Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Vector3
Forward direction of the object.
up
Type: Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Vector3
Upward direction of the object; usually [0, 1, 0].

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Matrix
The created world matrix.

This matrix includes rotation and translation, but not scaling.
