A Communicator Web Access Server is a service run by Microsoft Internet Information Services 6.0 and provides the Web access to the client functionality supported by Microsoft Office Communications Server inside an enterprise network. The server must be hosted on a computer with Microsoft Windows Server® 2003 operating system with Service Pack 1. The computer must have IIS installed and running.
