Represents the type of discount made from the list price of a product or service, specified as a percentage or monetary amount.

The discounttype class inherits from BusinessEntity. It exposes the following members.

|createdby||Gets the ID of the user who created the discount list.|
|createdon||Gets the date and time when the discount list was created.|
|createdonbehalfby||Gets the ID of the proxy user who created the discount list record.|
|description||Gets or sets the description of the discount list.|
|discounttypeid||Gets or sets the ID of the discount list.|
|importsequencenumber||Gets or sets the ID of the data import or data migration that created this record.|
|isamounttype||Gets a value that indicates if the discount list amount is specified as monetary amounts or percentages.|
|modifiedby||Gets the ID of the user who last modified the discount list.|
|modifiedon||Gets the date and time when the discount list was last modified.|
|modifiedonbehalfby||Gets the ID of the proxy user who last modified the discount list.|
|name||Gets or sets the name of the discount list.|
|organizationid||Gets the ID of the organization associated with the discount list.|
|overriddencreatedon||Gets or sets the date and time that the record was migrated.|
|statecode||Gets or sets the status of the discount list.|
|statuscode||Gets or sets the reason for the status of the discount list.|
|transactioncurrencyid||Gets the ID for the currency associated with the discount type.|

To view this information in the Customization area, in the Navigation Pane, click Settings, click Customization, and then click Customize Entities. Change the view to see non-customizable entities.
