These walkthroughs show you how to create and register plug-ins. When you have completed the walkthroughs, you will have two sample tools to register plug-ins and be able to create an online or offline plug-in.

The Plug-in Registration and Plug-in Developer tools featured in these walkthroughs are provided as an aid to plug-in registration. The source code for these tools is provided in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM SDK to show you how to use the plug-in registration APIs. These tools are not intended for production use. For more information about the tool sample code, see Sample Code.

In Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, plug-ins are known as callouts.
