ListView.CreateEmptyItem Method

Creates an empty item in the ListView control.

Return Value

Type: System.Web.UI.WebControls.ListViewItem
The empty item that was created.

The CreateEmptyItem method is a helper method that is called by the ListView control to create an empty item. The empty item is displayed when the last group of a page of data in the ListView control does not have any more records to display.


This method is primarily used by control developers to extend the ListView control.
