How to: Open a Prompt Database

Use a Speech Server prompt database to create and manage prompt scripts, record prompts, and store .wav files containing recorded prompts.

Opening a Prompt Database

To open a prompt database

  1. In Visual Studio 2005, open a speech application project.

  2. In Solution Explorer, expand the prompt project.

  3. Right-click the prompt database, and then click Open.

    Note

    A prompt database file has a .promptdb file name extension.
