JIT Debugging Vulnerability

This content is no longer actively maintained. It is provided as is, for anyone who may still be using these technologies, with no warranties or claims of accuracy with regard to the most recent product version or service release.

If just-in-time (JIT) debugging is enabled on the computer running Speech Server, it might be vulnerable to denial-of-service attacks. To disable JIT debugging, use the Windows Registry Editor to change the applicable registry value.

Important

Before you modify the registry, back up the registry and confirm that you fully understand how to restore the registry if a problem occurs. For information about how to back up, restore, and edit the registry, see Description of the Microsoft Windows Registry.

For more information about JIT debugging, see Enabling JIT-attach.
