Data integration overview in Planning Business Modeler
Before data analysis and planning is available in any business application, Planning Server must get data from one or more combinations of business data. Data can be moved from any one of the data sources to the staging database. The data can then be validated and moved from the staging database to the application database.

Data processes
Populating the Planning Server application database involves several processes, which are shown in the following illustration.
