Speech Server Performance Tuning

A baseline is the level of system performance that you consider acceptable when your system is handling a typical workload and running all required services. Typically, the performance baseline is a range of counter values that generally indicate optimal system performance. System performance that consistently falls below or exceeds the performance baseline is not running at the best possible level and might require you to tune the system configuration to realign performance.

Deciding whether performance is acceptable is a subjective judgment based on the specific environment in which you have deployed Speech Server. As a starting point, consider what is acceptable for various Speech Server counters reported by System Monitor. If the reported values exceed the acceptable values, you might have a performance problem that needs to be addressed.
