PropVariantClear function

Clears a PROPVARIANT structure.

Syntax

HRESULT PropVariantClear(
  _Inout_ PROPVARIANT *pvar
);

Parameters

pvar [in, out]

Type: PROPVARIANT*

Pointer to the PROPVARIANT structure to clear. When this function successfully returns, the PROPVARIANT is zeroed and the type is set to VT_EMPTY.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this function succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
