CollectionView.SetCurrent Method (Object, Int32, Int32)

Sets the specified item and index as the values of the CurrentItem and CurrentPosition properties. This method can be called from a constructor of a derived class.

Namespace:   System.Windows.Data
Assembly:  PresentationFramework (in PresentationFramework.dll)

protected void SetCurrent(
	object newItem,
	int newPosition,
	int count

Type: System.Object

The item to set as the CurrentItem.

Type: System.Int32

The value to set as the CurrentPosition property value.

Type: System.Int32

The number of items in the CollectionView.

Call this overload from constructor of a derived class. Do not pass the Count property, which is a virtual property, as count. Instead, pass the count of the internal IList that represents the collection.

SetCurrent is introduced in the .NET Framework version 3.5. For more information, see .NET Framework Versions and Dependencies.
