Configuring Tapi Settings Example

This example configures many of the settings for Tapi, such as cell broadcast, voice mail, security, network, and supplementary services.

Note

The AreaCode and CountryCode values should be preset if possible. Applications, such as smartdial, use these parms when performing searches for matching phone numbers. The values for these parms can be placed in ROM by OEMs during manufacture or provisioned by Mobile Operators before deployment to their customers.

Remarks

One provisioning XML file typically contains configuration information for multiple Configuration Service Providers. To use this example, you must replace the values as appropriate, and add the node as a child of the OMA Client Provisioning file.
