IFsrmActionCommand::KillTimeOut property

[This property is supported for compatibility but it's recommended to use the FSRM WMI Classes to manage FSRM. Please see the MSFT_FSRMAction, MSFT_FSRMFMJAction, and MSFT_FSRMFMJNotificationAction classes.]

Retrieves or sets the number of minutes the server waits before terminating the process that is running the executable program specified in the ExecutablePath property.

This property is read/write.

Syntax


HRESULT put_KillTimeOut(
  [in]  long minutes
);

HRESULT get_KillTimeOut(
  [out] long *minutes
);

Property value

The number of minutes the server waits before terminating the process running the executable program. Set to zero to wait indefinitely. The default is zero.

Error codes

The method returns the following return values.

NameMeaning
S_OK

Success.

E_INVALIDARG

The minutes parameter is NULL.

FSRM_E_OUT_OF_RANGE

The minutes parameter is less than zero.

Remarks

For FSRM to terminate the process, the IFsrmActionCommand::MonitorCommand property must be set to VARIANT_TRUE.
