FBA Fails While Configuring EWF (Windows Embedded Standard 2009)

Learn what to do when First Boot Agent (FBA) fails while it is booting the run-time image on the boot drive.
Resolution
Check the FBALOG.txt file to verify that EWF is initially disabled. Search for the following line:
Enable= Disabled, Optimize= 0, LazyWrite= N.If EWF is enabled at boot time, change the settings for the EWF component. In Target Designer, access the settings for the EWF component. Verify that the Start Enabled check box is cleared.
