DataContext::ExecuteMethodCall Method

This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Executes the stored database procedure or scalar function associated with the specified CLR method.

Parameters

instance
Type: System::Object
 The instance of the method invocation (the current object).
methodInfo
Type: System.Reflection::MethodInfo
Identifies the CLR method that corresponds to a database method.
parameters
Type: array<System::Object>
The array of parameters to be passed to the command.

Return Value

Type: System.Data.Linq::IExecuteResult
The result (the return value and output parameters) of executing the specified method.

The ExecuteMethodCall method is used in automatically generated code and acts as a proxy to database functions.
