Select Rule Set Dialog Box (Legacy)

This topic describes how use the Select Rule Set dialog box in the legacy Windows Workflow Designer. Use the legacy Workflow Designer when you need to target either the .NET Framework version 3.5 or the .NET Framework 3.0.

The Select Rule Set dialog box is used to select a rule set that you can use with a PolicyActivity activity. For information about how to access the Select Rule Set dialog box, see How to: Create a PolicyActivity Rule Set (Legacy).

The following table describes the user interface (UI) elements of the Select Rule Set dialog box.

UI Element Description

New…

Click to open the Rule Set Editor Dialog Box (Legacy) to create a new rule condition.

Edit…

Click to open the Rule Set Editor Dialog Box (Legacy) to edit the selected rule condition.

Rename…

Click to open a dialog box used to rename the selected rule set.

Delete

Click to delete the selected rule set.

Rule Set Preview

Displays the rules in the selected rule set.

OK

Click to assign the selected rule set to the PolicyActivity activity.

Warning

The Rules editor of the legacy Workflow Designer that is used to target either the .NET Framework version 3.5 or the .NET Framework 3.0 does not support Multitargeting.
