The Initialize method determines how the mail rule client processes incoming messages.

Syntax


HRESULT Initialize (
  IMsgStore * pMsgStore,
  MRCACCESS * pmaDesired
);

pMsgStore: [in] Reference to IMsgStore, representing the message store that contains the incoming messages.

pmaDesired: [out] The type of access that the mail rule client requests for processing the incoming messages, described by the MRCACCESS enumeration. The access is per store, as opposed to per transport.

This method returns the standard values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, and E_FAIL, as well as the following:
