Retrieves the number ofMonitoringAlert objects for the specified scope that match the specified filter, with the option to include instances of derived classes.

Parameters

criteria
Type: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Monitoring::MonitoringAlertCriteria^

The criteria that are used to filter out the returned monitoring alerts.

monitoringClass
Type: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Configuration::MonitoringClass^

The monitoring class, with all its derived classes, that defines the range of the returned results.

traversalDepth
Type: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Common::TraversalDepth

A value that modifies the limits of themonitoringClassparameter. A value of OneLevelincludes only instances of the specified class in the scope of the returned results. A value ofRecursiveincludes instances of the specified class and all instances that are contained by those instances.

Return Value

Type: System::Int32

Returns aInt32 that represents the number of selectedMonitoringAlert objects.
