Remarks

Typically, you should use the HotSpot.SaveViewState method to save the view state for the HotSpot region.

The IStateManager.SaveViewState method is an explicit interface member implementation. It can be used only when a HotSpot instance is cast to an IStateManager interface.

Notes to Inheritors

To define a custom implementation for tracking view state for a HotSpot object, override the SaveViewState() member. The explicit interface implementation calls the SaveViewState() method to save view-state changes for the object.
