CheckBoxList.IPostBackDataHandler.LoadPostData Method (String, NameValueCollection)

This API supports the product infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Processes posted data for the CheckBoxList control.

Namespace:   System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

bool IPostBackDataHandler.LoadPostData(
	string postDataKey,
	NameValueCollection postCollection
)

Parameters

postDataKey
Type: System.String

The key identifier for the control, used to index the postCollection.

postCollection
Type: System.Collections.Specialized.NameValueCollection

A NameValueCollection object that contains value information indexed by control identifiers.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean

true if the server control's state changes as a result of the postback; otherwise, false.

Typically, you should use the LoadPostData method to process posted data for a CheckBoxList object.

The IPostBackDataHandler.LoadPostData method is an explicit interface member implementation. It can be used only when the CheckBoxList instance is cast to an IPostBackDataHandler interface.

Notes to Implementers:

To define a custom implementation for processing posted data for a CheckBoxList object, override the CheckBoxList.LoadPostData member. The explicit interface implementation calls the CheckBoxList.LoadPostData method to process the posted data for the control.
