MSBuild.UseResultsCache Property

This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether the MSBuild engine will return the built targets from the cache.

MSBuild is now included in Visual Studio instead of the .NET Framework. You can use MSBuild 12.0 side-by-side with versions previously deployed with the .NET Framework.For more information, see What's New in MSBuild 12.0.

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the MSBuild engine will return the built targets from the cache; otherwise, false.

Remarks

The scope of built targets in the cash is (ProjectFileName, GlobalProperties)[TargetNames] as a list of build items.

This property is no longer used in version 4.0.
