ImageMap::IPostBackEventHandler::RaisePostBackEvent Method

For a description of this member, see RaisePostBackEvent.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

private:
virtual void RaisePostBackEvent(
	String^ eventArgument
) sealed = IPostBackEventHandler::RaisePostBackEvent

Parameters

eventArgument
Type: System::String

The argument for the event.

Implements

IPostBackEventHandler::RaisePostBackEvent(String)

Typically, you should use the ImageMap::RaisePostBackEvent method to raise an event for the ImageMap control when a form is posted back to the server.

The IPostBackEventHandlerRaisePostBackEvent(String) method is an explicit interface member implementation. It can be used only when the ImageMap instance is cast to an IPostBackEventHandler interface.

Notes to Inheritors:

To define a custom implementation for raising the event for a ImageMap object, override the ImageMap::RaisePostBackEvent member. The explicit interface implementation calls the ImageMap::RaisePostBackEvent method to raise the event when posted data has changed for the control.
