ImageMap::IPostBackEventHandler::RaisePostBackEvent Method (String^)

For a description of this member, see RaisePostBackEvent.

Namespace:   System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

private:
virtual void RaisePostBackEvent(
	String^ eventArgument
) sealed = IPostBackEventHandler::RaisePostBackEvent

Parameters

eventArgument
Type: System::String^

The argument for the event.

Typically, you should use the ImageMap::RaisePostBackEvent method to raise an event for the ImageMap control when a form is posted back to the server.

The IPostBackEventHandler::RaisePostBackEvent(String^) method is an explicit interface member implementation. It can be used only when the ImageMap instance is cast to an IPostBackEventHandler interface.

Notes to Inheritors:

To define a custom implementation for raising the event for a ImageMap object, override the ImageMap::RaisePostBackEvent member. The explicit interface implementation calls the ImageMap::RaisePostBackEvent method to raise the event when posted data has changed for the control.
