HotSpot.IStateManager.IsTrackingViewState Property

This API supports the product infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Gets a value indicating whether the HotSpot object is tracking its view-state changes.

Namespace:   System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

bool IStateManager.IsTrackingViewState { get; }

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean

true if a HotSpot object is tracking its view-state changes; otherwise, false.

Typically, you should use the HotSpot.IsTrackingViewState member to determine whether a HotSpot object is tracking view-state changes.

The IStateManager.IsTrackingViewState member is an explicit interface member implementation. It can be used only when a HotSpot instance is cast to an IStateManager interface.

Notes to Inheritors:

To define a custom implementation for tracking view state for a HotSpot object, override the HotSpot.IsTrackingViewState member. The explicit interface implementation calls the HotSpot.IsTrackingViewState property to determine whether the object is tracking view-state changes.
