Exception Condition

source is null.


The sum is larger than MaxValue.

The Sum(IEnumerable<Decimal>^) method returns zero if source contains no elements.

In Visual Basic query expression syntax, an Aggregate Into Sum() clause translates to an invocation of Sum.
