VML V-Text-Spacing-Mode Attribute

This topic describes VML, a feature that is deprecated as of Windows Internet Explorer 9. Webpages and applications that rely on VML should be migrated to SVG or other widely supported standards.

Defines the mode for letterspacing. Read/write. String.

Remarks

Values include

  • tightening (default)
  • tracking

This attribute determines whether space will be removed between each letter (tightening) or added between each letter (tracking). The amount of letterspacing change is defined by the V-Text-Spacing attribute.
