Characters Object Members

A collection of characters in a selection, range, or document. There is no Character object; instead, each item in the Characters collection is a Range object that represents one character.

	Count	Returns the number of characters in the Characters collection. Read-only Long.
	Creator	Returns a 32-bit integer that indicates the application in which the specified object was created. Read-only Long.
	First	Returns a Range object that represents the first character in the collection.
	Last	Returns a Range object that represents the last character in the collection.
	Parent	Returns an Object that represents the parent object of the specified Characters object.
