CustomizeClearType method

Not supported. Sets a registry value to turn ClearType on or off.

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.CustomizeClearType(fSet);

Parameters

fSet [in]

Type: VARIANT_BOOL

One of the following values:

VARIANT_TRUE (true)

Always use ClearType for HTML.

VARIANT_FALSE (false)

Do not use ClearType for HTML.

Remarks

CustomizeClearType was introduced in Windows Internet Explorer 7.

This method can only be called from a "first run" page in the correct domain.
